The Association of South Central Oklahoma Governments hosted the first Public Workshop for the Fort Sill Joint Land Use Study (JLUS) on Monday, September 18, 2017 at Cameron University, the Center for Emerging Technology & Entrepreneurial Studies (CETES) Conference Center located at 2800 West Gore Boulevard, Lawton, OK.
The information provided at the workshop included an overview of the JLUS and JLUS process, the importance of the JLUS, and an overview of the compatibility factors that will be assessed. Attendees had the opportunity to provide input on the compatibility issues they would like to see addressed in the JLUS. In addition, the workshop included an overview of the Fort Sill mission to provide an understanding of the military missions and the associated impacts in the project study area.
